If I were looking for a new book to write, with a story and suitable title, I would be tempted to do something called “The Talented Mr Lyons”. The plot would be simple: a mysterious bottle of wine arrives. Where is it from? What vintage is it? The talented Mr Lyons arrives and answers both questions with his usual skill, style and wit. End of story!

Will is a regular guest speaker on sea and river cruises. He has featured in Seabourn’s Conversations programme, was the headline speaker for Cunard’s Voyage du Vin and Transatlantic Festival of Food & Wine and has hosted river cruises for Riviera.
Will has lectured on the art of wine appreciation at Oxford, Cambridge and Edinburgh Universities.
